Real estate agents are a person who sells and rents out land and buildings to people that are willing to potentially buy the land. They therefore arrange the selling, renting and management of these properties. Their job is to perform duties such as study property listings, accompany clients to property sites, interview prospective clients, discuss conditions of sale and eventually draw up a real estate contract. They are needed to represent the buyer because if a buyer doesn’t hire an agent there is a risk that they could lose exposure to 80% of the buying population. Real estate agents also need a load of skills to help clients attain the properties that they desire. These skills include communication and negotiation skills, responsiveness, honesty and integrity and above all knowledge of the real estate market.
